Artist Biography
My work starts without intention, as color, water and textures lead me to an image. Through this lack of order and predictability, I discover palpable structure that leads me to an aesthetic portrayal. A collection of moments created through silent meditation to imbue the stream of consciousness that existed at the moment. Each piece is a moment in my immediate time of reference that depicts the emotions and sensations felt during creation. The exploration of material and careful consideration of movement with water created moments of chaos that I later worked in and around to give form and meaning to the chaotic sensation of absorption. When something new and chaotic comes to life, this fight with the inevitability of unknown and unpredictable factors, allows me to foster and develop as an artist. This obscure randomness functions as a whole within my creative and organized entity.
