Artist Biography
Singaporean interdisciplinary artist Ezra Chan Yi transforms everyday scenes into vibrant, layered visual narratives. Drawing from memory and observation, Chan reimagines familiar environments through intricate mark-making and a bold, intuitive use of colour. His immersive compositions in drawing, painting, and mixed media are emotional reconstructions of place where architecture, nature, and community coexist. While his aesthetic is defined by a playful energy, sustained viewing reveals a deeper structure of reflection.
Chan’s work has garnered significant international acclaim, featuring in exhibitions such as ArtPrize (USA), The Artist & Leisure Painter Open (UK), and the XXIV Exposición Internacional MundoArti (Spain).
