Artist Statement

This painting Fallen Angle explores the fusion and interaction of motions. The work is characterized by fluid movements that merge into a harmonious ensemble on the canvas. The use of silhouettes as a form of expression invites viewers to experience the power and beauty of movement in its purest form. An old master glazing technique visually captures the merging of movements. Through the superimposition of transparent paint layers, new nuances and depths of color emerge, adding an extraordinary dimension to the work. While the contours of the figures are clearly defined, their inner essence and motions create a space for individual interpretation, allowing us to experience the universal language of movement. This artwork combines harmonious movement, vibrant colors, and the subtle power of silhouettes.

Artist Biography

Art has always been an integral part of my life. To be able to realise my ideas according to my own wishes and standards, I have acquired the technical and practical aspects of various art forms in extensive courses as well as autodidactically through a lot of trial-and-error. My background in Environmental Sciences, in which I am pursuing a PhD, not only inspires my artistic exploration of nature and sustainability but also strengthens my ability to immerse myself in new practices and approaches. I have developed a keen sense for experimentation and the willingness to continuously try new techniques and skills that enrich my creative process. This has enabled me to present my art at several national and international exhibitions. My journey is not yet complete, and I am already looking forward to the next steps!
