For me showing movement in a piece is really important. I try to tell a story, one moment frozen in time.

Artist Biography

I am a cabinetmaker by trade but I am an aspiring artist. I started making soapstone carvings kinda by accident. My wife at the time came home one day with a polar bear soapstone. I told her that if she could find me a soapstone, I would make her one as a birthday gift. That was six years ago and this soapstone is my fourth completed piece. I work full time so I can only work on carving in my free time.
