Artist Statement

Inspired by the Northern Lights, I captured their beauty, complexity, and mystery in this artwork. With vibrant greens, purples, and pinks swirling across the snowy landscape, this artwork reflects both the power and fragility of nature—making it a special piece in my collection.

Artist Biography

I am a 16-year-old emerging artist from North Carolina, U.S. I do many types of art such as watercolor, acrylic, colored pencils, and pencil art. My passion for art began at a young age, and has grown over the years. I used it as a means to express myself when I felt that words could not. I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the different types of art, starting with watercolors and finding my way to many more mediums. For 4 consecutive years, I reached the district level in the National PTA Reflections competition. This motivated me to keep refining my skills and expanding my boundaries. With a growing portfolio and a commitment to keep improving, I am excited to explore new techniques and challenge myself further in this journey. I look forward to pursuing art in greater depth, and sharing my work with others.
